CIMmultus™ stands for:

  • Convective mass transfer, reduced backpressure, and minimal sample clogging
  • Fast product isolation and concentration of diluted samples
  • Efficient removal of high molecular mass impurities in polishing steps

CIMmultus™ CDI-8000 mL is an improved monolithic column with 2 um pore size and a column volume of 8000 mL. It is packed into an innovative epoxy-based housing and is supplied ready to use. CIMmultus™ CDI-8000 mL is intended for industrial manufacturing. CDI (carboxydiimidazole) is used for preactivation of the monolithic media. CDI media is used for immobilization of proteins or other compounds containing amino groups under mild reaction conditions. The one atom spacer arm between the immobilized protein and matrix is a part of carbamate functional group, which represents a hydrolytically stable and not charged covalent linkage.
