CIMmultus™ C4 HLD-800 mL is an improved monolithic column with 2 um pore size and a column volume of 800 mL. It is packed into an innovative epoxy-based housing and is supplied ready to use. CIMmultus™ C4 HLD-800 mL is intended for purifications at pilot scale and industrial manufacturing. C4 HLD (high ligand — butyl) is a hydrophobic ligand, used in hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC). Due to high ligand density of butyl groups on the monolithic surface, it has proven to be excellent for:

• pDNA isoform separation
• Purification in an ammonium sulfate descending gradient

Due to highly hydrophobic nature of CIMmultus™ C4 HLD column separation/purification of proteins and peptides is only possible under the reversed phase conditions.
