CIM® r-Protein A — 80 mL Tube Monolithic Column

r-Protein A (recombinant protein A produced in E. coli) is an affinity ligand, used for fast, highly efficient purification of immunoglobulin G. Fc portion of antibodies (IgG class) is bound to the protein without affecting antigen binding. Besides its usage as an affinity ligand for capture of IgG molecules it can be used as a platform for binding specific antibodies with their consequent crosslinking. In this way, monolithic affinity coluns can be prepared for capturing antigens for the specific antibodies.
